Local Climate Groups

Whether you're interested in volunteering, attending events, or just learning more about what's happening in your local area, there are a number of local climate groups across the borough to get involved with.

• Kids Against Plastic - Kids Against Plastic aims to help young people (and not so young people) to learn about environmental issues such as plastic pollution and the Climate Crisis.
  
  
• Gedling Climate Change Group (Facebook link) - Gedling Climate Group organise events, share resources and meet regularly to inform, explain and campaign about climate change.
  
  
• Burton Joyce Climate Action & Biodiversity Group (Facebook link) - Local climate action group for the Burton Joyce area. 
  
  
• Marches Energy Agency - Marches Energy Agency was formed in 1996 as an off-shoot of Shropshire Council’s Energy Team and became an independent energy charity in 1998.
