If you, or your child, are on any of our swimming lessons, you could get £5 off your monthly payment for referring a friend to join our lessons!
When your friend or family member joins our swimming lessons from your referral, you’ll both get £5 off your next monthly direct debit payment – it’s a win-win!

Terms and conditions - referring a friend
To refer another person, you must be a current learner, or parent/guardian of a current learner on our swimming lessons.
This promotional offer ends at 11.59pm on Friday 31 May 2024. Referral forms must be completed by this date, however the person has until 30 June 2024 to join lessons using this referral promotion.
To qualify for this promotion, you must refer an eligible person via the Gedling Leisure app using the ‘refer a friend’ feature in the swimming lessons section. The scheme is not available in-person at the centres.
There is no limit on how many times you can refer other people. You cannot refer yourself.
You can only refer people who are not currently on our swimming lessons scheme.
If you pay by Direct Debit, the one-off £5 discount will be awarded to you the following month when your referred person has signed up to our swimming lessons and has made their first monthly payment.
If more than one person signs up for our swimming lesson scheme in the same month from your referrals, you will receive £5 off per month for each successful referral.
We will contact you to confirm when a referral you have made has been successful.

Terms and conditions – for new learner
To be eligible for this promotion, you must;
- be referred by a person, or a parent/guardian of a child, currently registered on our any of our swimming lessons via the Gedling Leisure app.
- submit your details using the online referral form via the 'get started' button above.
To sign your child up to swimming lessons, please fill in the referral form with the parent/ guardian contact details.
When joining, the first full payment includes the £15 joining fee, one full month and up to the 4th of the next month. If you, and the person who referred you, are eligible, the promotional discount will be applied to your Direct Debit on the second month.
This promotional offer ends at 11.59pm on Friday 31 May 2024. Referral forms must be completed by this date, however you have until 30 June 2024 to sign up to lessons using this referral promotion.
This ‘refer a friend’ offer is available for all swimming lesson classes at Arnold, Calverton and Carlton Forum Leisure Centre.
By completing the online referral form via the promotional app link, you consent to a member of the leisure staff contacting you by phone or email regarding this offer.
This promotional offer cannot be backdated if you are already on our swimming lessons scheme.
There is no minimum term contract associated with this promotion, however the £5 discount will not be applied until the second month’s Direct Debit payment.
After being referred, you, or your child, must join our swimming lessons scheme and make your first full monthly payment in order for the promotional offers to be awarded to both parties.
Spaces on swimming lessons are subject to availability. If there’s no spaces available at the time of being referred, you will be placed on a waiting list and your referral will remain valid until 30 June. You may check availability with the leisure centre before completing the referral.
New members joining via this scheme will require a Gedling Leisure card. All learners are eligible for free public swimming sessions.
