Residents' satisfaction survey 2021

Last summer we ran our residents’ survey, The Gedling Conversation, to find out what issues matter to you the most. The survey is our regular consultation with residents and we use the results to help shape our services and use your feedback to improve the borough as a whole.

The survey was sent to all households in the borough and an online survey was set up too.

As always, we had a great response to the survey, with over 3,500 responses and would like to thank everyone who took part and gave us your views.

Each response we receive provides valuable information to help us understand what our residents think and need, and helps us develop future plans to improve our services.

We have used the responses to create an action plan and we’ve selected a few highlights below:

  • Launch a consultation to support the development of the Gedling Plan 2023-2027
  • Consider potential service improvements as part of current and future budgets
  • Inform residents on the development of service plans for 2022/23
  • Review our communication with residents to ensure they are well informed about services.
