Redundancy Support

Redundancy is when you dismiss an employee because you no longer need anyone to do their job. For a redundancy to be genuine, you must demonstrate that the employee’s job will no longer exist. Find out more about compulsory or non-compulsary redundancies.

If your business is struggling, support is available through the Jobcentre Plus 'Rapid Response Service (RRS)'. This is a redundancy service designed to give both employers and employees the support and advice they need.
