Arnold Leisure Centre facilities


Arnold Leisure Centre has a reception area, toilets, changing and shower facilities, two swimming pools (a 25 metre pool and a 12 metre learner pool). A bar area is located upstairs along with the Bonington Theatre. Wifi is available but please ask reception for the code. To use the lockers you will need a £1 coin, which is refundable.

Refreshments 

Hot and cold drinks are available to purchase from vending machines in the reception area. The bar on the upper floor also provides refreshments, however this is only open when shows are on at the Bonington Theatre. 

Shop

A selection of swimming accessories are available to buy at reception, including goggles, floats, swim wear and children's swim toys.

Parking

Parking at the centre is free for the first 2 hours, however a ticket must still be displayed in your car. Parking charges apply after the 2 hours (after 3 hours for blue badge holders).

Blue badge parking bays are located a short distance from the entrance to centre.

Showers/ changing rooms

Mixed gender private cubicals and an accessible changing area with shower is available.

Customer toilets

A disabled access toilet and shower room, with emergency pull cord, is available on the ground floor near the swimming pools. More toilets can be found in the main changing area and on the upper floor.

Wheelchair access

Level access to reception, changing area, toilets and swimming pool, with lift access in reception to upper floor for the Bonington Theatre and bar area.

A hoist is available at the poolside, along with easy-access steps, to enable customers with disabilities to enter the pools.

There is a small poolside viewing area.

The leisure centre entrance doors are automatic. A member of staff will be happy to help you should you need assistance with any other doors.

Reception desk includes a section with lowered height for wheelchair users.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of the centre. Fresh drinking water can be made available.

Audio /visual information

Hearing loop systems are available at the centre.

Written documents and information are available in alternative formats on request.

Staff members will be happy to help with any additional support where required.

Carers/ additional support

Customers who require additional support during their visit to our leisure centres are welcome to bring a carer who will be entitled to free admission.

The nearest bus stops to the leisure centre are for route numbers 25, 53, 54, 56, 56B, 58, 58X, 79, 79A, 87 (1 minute walk) located on High Street at ASDA.
