Types of classes
Taking part in fitness classes can give you the motivation and confidence boost to achieve your health and fitness goals. Our friendly and knowledgeable instructors will be on hand to give advice and guidance during the many sessions available at our leisure centres.

Some of the fitness classes you can experience at our centres include:
Mind and body
Classes such as yoga and pilates, to focus on strengthening the body’s core, stretching the muscles and breathing exercises. Both yoga and pilates are available at the Redhill, Carlton Forum and Calverton leisure centres.
Cardio exercises help to tone and strengthen muscles, boost your immune system, relieve stress and much more. Come along to any of our classes at Redhill, Carlton Forum and Calverton leisure centres, some of which include Kickboxercise, Box Fit, Group Cycle and Step Aerobics. In addition to these, we also have Aqua Aerobics classes which take place at Arnold Leisure Centre.
Conditioning exercises help to improve physical fitness and athletic performance. Classes include Kettlefit, HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training), Body Tone and Studio Strength, amongst many others.
Dance is a fantastic and fun way to keep in shape! Zumba has many health benefits including improving coordination, burn calories and tones your entire body, so why not give our Zumba classes a go at Carlton Forum?
We have lots of specialist sessions to choose from, which are a great option for individuals with mobility issues, various disabilities and health conditions, and those recovering from an illness. These sessions include DNA Health, Strokeability and Heartbeats, as well as our water-based exercise session, Good Boost. See more on our specialist swim sessions.
Virtual fitness classes are available at the Redhill and Carlton Forum leisure centres, and are included in the DNA membership at no extra cost. Class choices range from yoga, cycling, aerobics, Zumba and more! You can simply book a virtual class session on the timetable, and choose your activity once you arrive at the centre, making it great to try alone or with your friends. We have various outdoor classes available at our Calverton Leisure Centre, which take place under our outdoor marquee and include sessions such as Kettlefit, Bootcamp, Boxercise, Group Cycle and more!
