Richard Herrod Centre is perfect for conferences, birthday parties, wedding receptions, wakes and more. Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, throwing a party for friends and family, or need a space for training or meetings, we’ve got you covered.
Our Millennium Suite is a large versatile function suite, catering for up to 170 guests; ideal for wedding receptions, parties and conferences. It can be booked as a whole room or split into half (suitable for up to 70 people) to suit the size of your event.
The Meeting Room is the ideal venue for smaller meetings and training courses, holding up to 14 people.
The bar provides a more informal setting for gatherings, with plenty of tables and chairs in comfortable surroundings.
We are located close to Nottingham city centre, with lots of free parking on site and have several bus routes close by.
Our facilities are accessible for wheelchair users, making Richard Herrod Centre the ideal place to meet up, whatever the occasion. If you would like catering for your event, we can recommend local caterers for you to use.

Prices
Venue hire prices from 1 April 2025
- Millennium suite whole room – £69 per hour / £250 weekend function (7-12pm)
- Millennium suite half room – £36 per hour off peak / £48 per hour peak times (Fri night, all day Saturday) / £130 weekend function (7-12pm)
- Meeting Room – £16 per hour
- The Bar - £32 per hour
- Community Room - £30 off peak / £36 peak times
- Wedding celebration – £450
- Funeral Wake - £60
- Surchage (weekend booking without the bar) - £420
Additional charges may apply for additional requirements including tablecloths and corkage.
